Considering a move to the Big Island from Oregon. Can't take the grey gloomy fall/winter/springs in Oregon anymore. I don't mind rain but where I live currently the clouds roll in about October and we maybe get 5 or 6 sunny days a month until February. Then we might get lucky and get 7 or 8 sunny days until June. By June it is kinda of a 50/50 thing. Hard to plan outdoor events because you just don't know if it is going to be 50 and cruddy or 75 and beautiful.
